SignUp Instructions

These instructions are also provided in a video format. Click here to view that now.

Signing up as a member with Agloco is easy, however there are sometimes questions. Our intention is to walk you through the steps to make it even easier. (I wanted to add photos of each step in here, but the blog is not cooperating. If you go to the video training, detailed examples are given.)

1) Someone gave you a website address (URL) that will look similar to
www.agloco.com/r/BBBK8558. The last 4 Letters and 4 digits are the person's Member ID# and that gives them credit for you being their referral. The ID# in this example is mine, so make sure that you use the code they provided you with.

2) When clicking on that link, or typing it into the address bar of your browser, you will be taken to the SignUp Form on the Agloco website.

3) Most of the form is self-explanatory. Fill in the following information:

  • First Name
  • Middle Initial (Optional)
  • Last Name
  • Email Address (see note below about email addresses)
  • Email Address Again (to confirm)
  • Date of Birth (Enter as 01/01/1907) Use slashes and all 8 digits.
  • No Street Address is requested
  • City
  • State
  • Zip/Postal Code
  • Country - click on the blue downward arrow to activate the drop down box, select the country you live in.
  • Type the code in the box that you see above it - sometimes these are very hard to read. If you type it wrong, you'll receive an error message with a new number. The 2nd one may be easier to read.
  • Click in the box that indicates you have read and agree to the Terms of Service, the Membership Agreement, and the Privacy Policy. And if you don't take the time to read them right now, they can be found on the Agloco website for later review, and there is also a summary of each of those right here on this blog.
  • Click on the button that says, "Click Here to Join."
4) Next page is a Thank-You which says that a verification email has already been sent to the email address you provided.

  • Go to that email provider.
  • Look for an email from AGLOCO.com Service and the subject will be Sign-up notification email. If you do not see it, make sure to check your "spam" folder. Yahoo often puts it in their "bulk" folder.
  • On the 3rd line of the email, you'll see something similar to "Your Password is: ABCDEF" It is 6 letters all in caps. This password is only temporary, but you will need it for the next step. Either write it down or simply highlight and copy it.
  • On the 2nd line of the email, you will see a link. Click on the link now.

5) Now a page appears that says Sign In.

  • Enter email address if it is not already there.
  • Enter the 6 letter temporary password from the email, or paste it, here. Remember, it is all caps! It will only show dots when typing.
  • Click on Remember Me (optional)
  • Click on Sign In.
6) This next page says, Thank you for confirming your Agloco membership.

  • Enter the real password that you prefer to use.
  • Enter it again to confirm the password.
  • Click on Save.
7) Next page tells you several things.

  • Congratulations you are now a member.
  • It gives you your Member ID# (4 letters and 4 numbers) Print out this page for safekeeping or write your ID# where you can readily find it.
  • It tells you that the viewbar is still in Beta testing and you will be notified when it's ready to download.
  • It gives you an option "Show me my account." When clicking on that you will see a box that shows you a "1" for yourself and there are 0 Direct Referrals and 0 Extended Referrals.
  • The other option says "I am ready to refer people." Click on that button.
8) This page gives you a Personal Automatic Referral Link. This is your very own Personal Sign Up Page with Agloco. When others sign up from this page, they count as your referral.

9) Near the bottom of that same page is a sample referral email.

  • Click on that link
  • Print out the letter and you can even highlight the words, copy them, open a new email, paste the words into the body of the email, and you're ready to start sharing Agloco with your friends.
Feel free to send your referrals to this blog and you never have to explain a thing.

If you have any further questions, feel free to click on the Live Assistance Button in the right sidebar. Have a Fabulous Day!

What is a Viewbar?

The viewbar is a small toolbar that rests on the bottom of your screen or browser window while you browse the internet. This viewbar is software that you download from Agloco. It enables them to gather information which is sold for profit and paid back to you as a member. You earned it while browsing the internet, you should receive the reward.

The viewbar keeps track of your interests and preferences by recording where you've been. Because the member's privacy is of utmost concern with Agloco, the viewbar communicates securely and in an encrypted fashion so as to keep each person's information private.

The viewbar is not spyware, in fact it is the exact opposite.

The Agloco Viewbar is completely permission-based.
The Agloco Viewbar keeps your information private.
The Agloco Viewbar gives you the ability to turn it off with a single click.

Features of the Viewbar:
Search - You get money from Search Engine Companies
Contextual Ads - You get money from advertisers.
Anti-fraud / Software Utilities - You get money from Software Companies

The viewbar is currently in limited beta testing and will not be available for download until sometime in February.

The order in which you will be notified for download of the Viewbar is based on the date that you became a member. The sooner one becomes a member, the sooner they will be able to download the viewbar and start earning.

Viewbar Release Date

When will the
viewbar be available?

According to the Agloco Official Blog on December 16, 2006:

We expect to be able to release the first phase of the viewbar in 7 to 10 weeks.

That means sometime in February.

Why so long?

The release of the viewbar has to be managed carefully taking into consideraton:
  • Server planning
  • Partnerships
  • Operating systems

Another consideration is whether to release in phases or release all platforms at once.

We will keep this area updated as new announcements are made.

Explain the Referral Program

How does the referral program work?

Anyone that you personally refer becomes a member of Agloco and is called your Direct Referral.

Anyone they refer becomes a member and is called your Extended Referrals.

You receive credits in your account for the number of hours you surf (currently maximum of 5 hours each per month.)

You receive credits in your account for the number of hours surfed by each Direct Referral (currently maximum of 5 hours per month.)

You receive credits in your account for the number of hours surfed by all Extended Referrals, 4 extensions out into the community (currently maximum of 5 hours each per month.)

There is no limit to the number of people anyone can refer.

Please do not spam. If someone has never heard of you, nor contacted you about their opportunity, that would be spam. If caught spamming, you will be terminated. Additionally, your referror stands to lose the hours of your entire community.

This means that you must contact people that you already know, or that you are currently building a relationship with, such as on social networks, and other groups. Please check out our "Strategy for Success." You only need to refer 5 to make a very healthy income. For those who want to make more, every group of 5 doubles your monthly income.

Do I have to refer someone?

No, you do not..... If you refer no one, you simply receive credit in your account for the number of hours you personally surf (currently maximum of 5 hours per month.)

Please feel free to share or ask questions by clicking on "comments" below.

Where are my Referrals?

I don't see the names and contact information for my referrals - where are they? Agloco is serious about bullet-proof Privacy. Therefore, at this time, names of referrals (direct and extended) are not given out, only numbers.

When you are familiar with the people that you invite to become members, you will know when they sign-up. It is your responsibility to keep track of those who become members and encourage them to do likewise. Work together. Communicate and Support one another! We are not just "members," we are owners. Successful Owners accept responsibility!

How many referrals should I contact?
You are paid for each hour that your direct and extended referrals surf the internet up to the current limit of 5 hours per month. Use your "member calculator" in the Agloco website to play around with the numbers. Then, you decide how many people you want to refer. There is no limit to the number of referrals that a member can have.

If "friends & family" are not your choice for referrals, use the social networks. Develop relationships first, get to know people, and when the time is right, share Agloco as an add-on to any business enterprise. There's no financial outlay and most people are surfing the internet anyway. It's a perfect fit with any business.

Please feel free to share or ask questions by clicking on "comments" below.

Why Would I Allow Tracking?

Whether you know it or not, every time to get on the internet, your keystrokes and clicks of the mouse are most likely being tracked by someone through your browser. You are leaving your footprints or fingerprints everywhere you go.

When entering various websites or areas of the internet, a cookie is placed on your computer for various reasons.

Let's take a look at why this is a GOOD Thing...

What are Cookies?

What are "cookies" and what do they do?

How someone ever decided to use the word "cookie" for internet lingo is beyond me. These cookies are not pertaining to food.

A cookie is simply a piece of text stored by your own browser, on your computer, at the request of another party's server. Cookies were actually invented for the purpose of "shopping cart" operation on websites.

There are several kinds of cookies. Agloco will use 2 types of cookies - session and persistent. We'll get to those in a minute.

Misconceptions
To clear up a few misconceptions by internet users, let's first examine what Cookies are NOT.

  • Cookies are not spyware.
  • Cookies cannot read personal information stored on your computer.
  • Cookies are not worms or viruses.
  • Cookies cannot erase data on your computer.
  • Cookies do no generate popups.
  • Cookies are not used for spamming.
  • Cookies are not program code - they are only data.

Benefits of Cookies

Store Login Information - Cookies are used any time that you login to a website or account. It recognizes if you are entering the correct data and are authorized to access that page or perform operations that are restricted only to you (or someone who has your user name and password.)

Personalization & Preferences - Based on choices that YOU have made either on your computer or with a specific server, that server displays what you have previously requested. For example, you may have indicated to a search engine, like Google, how many search results you want to see per page. That's using a cookie. Choosing a "skin" is data that's stored in a cookie and then returns your preference when you enter that site.

Tracking - Cookies can track an internet user's whereabouts within one specific website or across various websites.

  • On a single website, it provides useful anonymous statistics regarding pages visited, etc.
  • Across various websites, it provides anonymous information to advertising companies, building a profile on your search habits, targeting those items you are interested in. A good example of this is when you search for an item in Google, notice how all of the ads on the page are targeted and related to the items you searched for.

Agloco Uses 2 Types of Cookies

Session - At the time that you submit your registration, and whenever you access your account information, Agloco's servers place a "session cookie." This type of cookie only lasts for the duration of your visit. It allows Agloco's servers to correctly display pages based on YOUR specific account information.

Persistent - These cookies are stored for a longer period of time and are used for the following reasons:

  • To enable certain personalized experiences stored in your user preferences.
  • To assist ad-serving vendors in not showing you the same ads repeatedly.
  • To deliver specific content related to your interests.
  • To save your password & username (clicking the "remember me" box) so you don't have to enter everything each time you login.

Please Note: Agloco has contractural arrangements with partners and ad-serving companies that restrict these 3rd parties from using these cookies for anything other than fulfilling their service to Agloco. This keeps your information private!

To learn how to remove cookies from your computer, ScyberBiz.com offers beginner through advanced trainings on the subject of Cookies, Cache & Temporary Internet Folders.

We encourage you to add your thoughts, suggestions, and questions, by clicking on the word "comments" below.

What is Spyware?

The question has been asked,
Isn't this spyware?

Agloco is NOT creating spyware, nor is it an intrusion on the members' privacy.

You have to admit that when you first realize that someone's been spying on you, peeking in on your computer, it feels a little scary. Education empowers you! The more you learn about how to protect yourself, you will no longer feel intimidated!

There is software to take care of these issues, and you should use it on a regular basis.

Why is the viewbar NOT Spyware.

  1. Member data is only looked at with informed permission of each individual member.

  2. Data is used by Agloco only to provide services to members, it is not disclosed.

  3. Member data is destroyed if a member ever chooses to leave Agloco.
So just what is Spyware?
  1. Spyware is installed onto your computer without your permission.

  2. It tracks your movement on the internet without your knowing it.

  3. Since you don't know it's running, it's unlikely that you could turn it off.

  4. The data gathered is sent to unknown and untrustworthy entities.

  5. You have no control over what happens to the data.
And Anti-Spyware - What is that?

That's the software the you use to clean your computer of "spyware." I like using Ad-Aware SE Personal and Spybot which are both free to download from the internet.

How Do I Earn $$ With Algoco

There are several ways to earn with Agloco.

Plain & simple:
1) You accumulate hours in your account for using the viewbar up to 5 hours per month.

2) You accumulate hours in your account for viewbar usage of your referrals (direct & extended.)

3) You convert these hours into shares of Agloco stock. The shares can then be turned into cash.

How does Agloco make money?

Search Engines: Each time you use the Viewbar to do an Internet search, search engine providers like Google pay as much as 10 cents for each search directed to its search engine.

Advertising: The viewbar displays ads based on the sites that you are visiting. When you click on an ad and complete a purchase, Agloco receives a referral fee. This is passed on to the members.

1) Member's earnings grow as the cash flow of Agloco grows.
AGLOCO will be paying its members in shares initially. 1 hour surfed will earn you 1 share up to a possible of 5 hours each (the current limit). For every hour a referral surfs, you will earn 1/4 shares. When the Viewbar is released and Agloco starts to earn money, members will be able to trade their hours for cash, as well as shares. The value of these shares will be determined by the company's growth.

Members will receive shares in the company based on their own use of the internet AND for the amount of usage of their referrals. It's obvious that the larger your network of referrals, the more shares, and the larger your income will be.

For every 5 new members that you refer (direct or extended) you should double your Agloco member income.

2) Members can also earn cash directly into their accounts by entering into transactions with sponsors on the Agloco site.

You are never paid for the following:

1) You are not paid for signing up yourself or new members
2) You are not paid for clicking on ads.
3) You are not paid for inactive members
4) You are not paid for more than 5 hours per month of Viewbar usage
4) You are not paid for more referral hours that you accrued yourself.

Agloco pays its members to surf the web, similar to a company called AllAdvantage. AllAdvantage paid their members over 120 million dollars in two years but ultimately failed due to the rapid decline in internet advertising during the dot-com bubble burst.

Six years later and many of the same founders from AllAdvantage have decided to try again with Agloco. Agloco builds on the mistakes made by AllAdvantage and has the potential for large economic growth.

Firstly, the company is owned 100% by its members. Members are given a percentage of the company based on their membership value. Agloco will still be paying an hourly rate to its members and will even provide stocks and dividends once the company goes public.

Secondly, internet advertising has evolved in six years and is able to hit its target audience easily. You may have noticed this change in google, which shows ads that are catered to your search. Agloco's software, Viewbar, utilizes this same technology. So if they know the pages you're surfing, isn't this considered spyware? No, this software is totally voluntary to install and Agloco will never spam its users or use their private information in any way.

Finally, let me put the kibosh on the notion that this is a pyramid scheme. Members you sign up early have a huge benefit over others because of the referral network that Agloco employs. This is a very smart tactic for rapid growth but unlike a pyramid scheme no members will ever have to pay Agloco. You can build your own network at any time and you will receive the same rates as the person who first signed up.

How is Time Tracked

How are the 5 hours of internet usage tracked?

I haven't found this information printed anywhere by Agloco yet.

Of course, the hours will be tracked through the viewbar, and I've read that you cannot just sit on one place (website, search engine, etc.) for the full 5 hours.

You must be involved in "active" surfing or searching on the internet. See the post on "surfing" if you want to learn more about how to do this.

And, I would imagine that you would have to use the little search box area within the Viewbar in order for it to track the time.

Do I leave the viewbar on during the entire month, even though I only get paid for 5 of those hours?

This, too, I have not yet seen in writing.

As soon as we are notified of these items by the company, we will post it here.

Please feel free to share or ask questions by clicking on "comments" below.

When & How Does Agloco Pay

When will payments to the members begin?

Since income is earned by surfing the internet with the Viewbar, no payments can be expected until that happens. The viewbar is not scheduled to arrive until sometime in February. Your best use of time until then would be to expand your referral community, so you'll have a lot of people surfing when the viewbar arrives. For more details on how those hours are accounted for, read the post entitled "How Do I Earn $$ with Agloco."

How will the payments be made? Checks? Digital?
We do not know. Stay tuned.

10 Million Members by 7/1/07?

This announcement of the 10 Million member goal was announced on December 14, 2006.

How could that be possible?

How can that be done?

Who are the Partners?

Partners & Advertisers

Who don't know yet who these people are.

Members are Owners?

How does this work?

Shares are intended to be issued in the following manner:

1 share per hour of usage for Members
1/4 share per hour of usage for Referrals

Does this also mean extended Referrals or only Direct referrals.
What time period? Are shares figured each month, or when? Once quailified for shares, do you keep that number?

Strategies for Prosperity

Guarantee your own success by assisting others.

Please come back later today... More being added here.

Facts to Consider

Here are some interesting facts to know about other internet successes.

Other companies on the internet gave away a service for free to its users while they were growing - but they did not pay the users a dime when they became successful and sold their business for millions or billions of dollars.

Agloco is opposed to that kind of business strategy and wants to reward both the entrepreneurial users and workers.

Youtube started as a small company with no users. In a year and a half they had no revenue yet they were bought by Google for 1.6 billion dollars. A large community is valuable, if you owned a bit of youtube you would be doing rather well right now.

Alexa ranks websites for the popularity of hits by interested or inquisitive visitors. To reach the ranking of #2235, it took:
  • Agloco - 2 weeks
  • Wikipedia - 2 years
  • Facebook - 9 months
  • YouTube - 8 months
  • MySpace - 3 months

The information is posted below, and you can also click on this link to be taken directly to the About Us page on Agloco's website - then click on "Team." Other than this, you can do your own research.
